Reynolds Advanced Materials

Yesterday morning I got up bright and early and started casting medallions ribbons. I made enough a couple batches of each color, before heading to the barn for a quick ride on Chino.
I was home before noon and went right back to work. I cast and I cast and I cast until I literally could not cast anymore. I'd run completely out of resin!
This morning instead of going to the barn, I drove to Reynolds Advanced Materials in north Denver.
I had no idea what to expect, but this store is an absolute delight.
In addition to all kinds of casting supplies,
there were also art supplies galore, including artist clays...
and sculpting wax.
There were examples of all kinds of projects.
My brain kind of exploded with the possibilities!
And of course, I couldn't help but notice there was a Breyer on display.
He was Sharpie marked down his mid-line, so I'm pretty sure he'd been used in a mold making seminar.
Still, it was good to see him there among all the amazing art projects!
After I was done shopping, I came home and used my purchases to make another two hundred "red" ribbons.
That was a fun field trip, and I look forward to going back to Reynolds Advanced Materials in the future!

  1. That definitely looks like a fun place! I'm kind of glad it is way too far for me to go there.
