Horses

This morning Santana and I had the best ride we've had together in years. It was amazing.
We got back to the barn, I put him away and immediately got drawn into a colic situation with my favorite senior stallion, Awesome Knight. Long story short: He didn't make it.
Horses. I wouldn't want to live without them, but they're going to be the death of me.

    I’m so so sorry to hear about the loss of this amazing old guy....highest of highs then lowest of lows...my heart goes out to all of you who love him.

    That's absolutely devastating. What a horrible way to go for an old boy. My deepest sympathies go out to everyone who knew him. @ least now he's free of the confines of stables & paddocks. You only just did a post about him not too long ago. :,^{
