A visit to Horse and Bird

In the three weeks I've been in Europe, I've had the privilege of visiting the studios of several model horse artists, including Anna Dobrowolska-Oczko.
Anna lives on Shetlands street in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Could there be a more fitting address for a sculptor of ponies?
Most of Anna's personal collection is displayed on shelves in her living room.
I loved seeing the Jennifer Show medallions and Mini Whinnies from the Dutch NaMoPaiMo party mixed in with the models.
After we'd admired the ponies, we climbed up the stairs to Anna's bright, clean studio.
There was a lot to see, including this line-up of Raafs. Raaf is Anna's newest resin edition. He is a 1:9 scale aged Warmblood gelding.
It was this guy, however, who captured most of my attention.
He is Anna's current work in progress, and I am in love
I mean, look at him!
Thank you, Anna, for inviting me into your home. I love your studio space, and I can't wait to see what you make next.
