Almost wordless Wednesday, dogs

Today begins the final week of my trip to Europe. It's been an amazing journey - truly the adventure of a lifetime - but four weeks is a long time to be away from home. I have to confess, I am a little bit homesick. I miss my family, my friends and my studio. I miss "my" horses and riding in the Colorado sunshine. Also, I miss my dogs. Oh, I miss my dogs so much! I've been taking photos of nearly every dog that crosses my path in a desperate attempt to fill the dog void. Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

    Thank you so much for including all the Euro-doggies! I know that feeling so well...when overseas in a small village, I stepped into a vet’s office to pet the snoozing Dane in the window. The Irish doctor popped his head around the corner and I explained I missed my dogs so much - with quick dry wit he replied, “That’s Terrible, you should go home immediately!”. And so you shall. :)

    Has it really been 3 weeks already? Wow. I have enjoyed reading your travels. And I totally get the homesickness for your fur-babies. I've never been away as long as you have, but even just an overnight leaves me missing my cats.
