Sunday is the last day of BreyerFest, and like most of the attendees, I was tired. I slept in a little bit, ate a leisurely breakfast and checked out of my hotel. Then I drove down the road and checked into the Clarion.
I meant to drop off my things and run, but instead I got to talking and almost missed my special run ticket times at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Of course, seeing how everything I bought was the most common variation, maybe it would have been better if I had in fact missed my turn! Does anyone need a solid Diana, solid Rocket or bay pinto Natasha?
I spent some time with one group of friends...
then walked to the covered arena to watch the horses and raffle with another group of friends.
I took this photo specifically for one of the friends I was sitting with, but I don't think he was properly appreciative.
In between all that, I also managed to attend a presentation at the Hall of Champions with Go For Gin,
and my favorite, Point Given.
The day wrapped up with drinks at the Clarion bar, a group dinner at Red State Barbecue and an early bedtime. It had been a wonderful BreyerFest, but I was ready to go home.
