Kylee's STAG event aside, I made it through the first six months of this pandemic without much in the way of retail therapy. All that changed in October. In the words of Chris Wallbruch, this month has been a little... undisciplined.
Here's the most recent offense.
Last week, I was idly perusing Model Horse $ales Pages, not really looking for anything in particular, when I saw a Bourbon resin finished by Georgia Padgett listed for a very reasonable price.
I took one look at him and thought, "That is a 2020 performance horse. He wants to roll on all my saddles." And just like that, I needed to own him.Bourbon - now Beethoven - arrived yesterday. Although I was not familiar with Georgia's work, this horse is a pleasant surprise. He's well prepped and well painted, and I am smitten!
I can't wait to tack him up!

Is that what it's called (I just bought my first resincast since quarantine began)...
ReplyDeleteHe's a Bourbon resin. This particular copy is named Beethoven.
