Forty derbies

Forty years ago, I watched Affirmed win the Kentucky Derby. It was my first horse race, and I was instantly hooked.

My life has changed a lot since then, but I am still hooked. 

I've missed a couple Derbies over the years, but I'm glad I didn't miss today's.
