The rope gate--Part two

Same obstacle, different angle. Once again, the horse is ridden up parallel to the gate and asked to halt.The rider "opens" the gate by lifting the loop off the standard.
The horse takes a couple steps back and then turns into the gate.
Note the short, controlled steps. This is not a good obstacle for a model in a big striding, free walk.
More slow and careful.
The horse is turning so its body will once again parallel the obstacle.
Backing into position.
More backing.
Success!
Pretty simple, right? I guess we'll find out next week at the show.
