Suggestions please!

I am very pleased to report that I did get asked to donate to the NAN auction again this year. The consignment paperwork arrived Saturday and I thought I'd get it filled out and shipped back today. However, I've run into a little problem... I have no idea what I should make! The consignment contract is due back on January 30th, and I really don't want to be the loser who sends it in with the title and description lines still blank. At this point I'm sort of thinking about a sidesaddle set but I'm not completely sold on that. I'd really love to hear your suggestions. I'd rather not make a Western saddle, but other than that I'm open to almost anything. Please, please, please let me know if there's something you'd like to see me tackle! On a related note, I've changed the settings on the comments section of this blog so that you no longer need a Blogspot id to post there. However, if you'd prefer to respond privately my email is

  1. The sidesaddle sounds like fun! I'd also love to see something for an endurance set-up.

  2. ohhhh Endurance would be fun! Or what about Aussie outback?

Can't wait to see what you do Jenn...

  3. That's what I was going to suggest, an Aussie Outback set. You could also always do a Canadian Trooper set. Don't see many of those around, and they are interesting. I guess it depends on if you want to stick to the English style, or venture into Western.

  4. How about a trad scale eventing set complete running martingale and boots?
Or....a working vaguero Spanish set? Argentine saddle and bridle?

  5. I think a sidesaddle would be awesome! Or an endurance set!

I ran into this same problem with my form... it's my first year being asked, so I'm pretty overwhelmed by the whole idea right now. Any tips to not completely lose it?

  6. How about a brown saddleseat sidesaddle set? That would be different from anything I've seen offered lately.
