Hope springs eternal

Despite years of evidence to the contrary, every January I am convinced that this is the year I will become an accomplished and prolific painter. this year is no exception, so in addition to my official NaMoPaiMo horse, I've spent this week preparing two additional victims.

The first is a slightly customized Kim Murray Auron resin.
This sassy little dude is going to be a bright red chestnut sabino - so similar but not identical to Ballycor.
He is this close to being ready to paint. Since he's not an official NaMoPaiMo model, I am hoping to start him this weekend.
The other model is a Maggie Bennett Offerman.
This tiny cob will be my Minis Painting Minis entry. I hope to make him a medium bay tobiano.
I've never actually managed to finish three horses in the space of a month and a half, but hope springs eternal.
2021 is going to be the year I become a painter. Hopefully. Maybe.

  3. I keep thinking that I definitely want to be a more prolific painter. I managed to finish 3 micros in the space of a week, prepped a whole bunch... and then nothing. Maybe next week...
