Today's photos

It's been exactly one month since I touched a horse. I miss them so much.
Every day Facebook reminds me that April is usually a really horsey month.

My memories are filled with riding pictures,
April 2017
foal pictures...
April 2015
and shedding pictures.

So many shedding pictures!

Shedding season was just beginning a month ago.
March 2020
I bet it will be over when I get back to the barn. I never thought I'd say this, but I am so sad to be missing out on shedding season.
Not quite April 2012
Today's prompt for the Shelter & Share Photo Challenge is "Spring Scene." I chose to set up a shedding scene, because nothing says spring to me like giant piles of horse hair.
The prompt for the April Photo Challenge is "Rarest." I'm not really a rarities type collector, but I think this Lane Ceramics piece by Maureen Love is pretty neat.
There are only five days - and ten photos - left in this month. It's been a long twenty five days, but I think I'm going to make it.

It's one of my favorites you've posted for the challenges.

  4. A true horse person associates spring with shedding! Love it! I think we can get back to the new normal, we will take fewer things for granted. :D

  5. I don't actually remember for sure the last time I touched a horse. It has been a ridiculously long time.
