Today's photos

Today's prompt for the April Photo Challenge was "Draft," so I set up a basic draft with a draft entry.
The Shelter & Share prompt was a lot less straightforward. I struggled with this one for a while before finally coming up with a plan of attack. I was staging it on the dining room table when James walked by. He stopped and watched me for a moment, then asked, "What's going on with this one?"

"It's Quarantine Quandary," I told him. "The doll is inside taking photos of toy horses, but she really wants to be outside with real horses."

He thought about that for a moment, then said, "So basically, that doll is you."
Yes, James, you're right. That doll is me.

  1. Kind of wish I'd kept my Uilleum resin - he is such a neat sculpture! Love seeing him in your performance set ups.

    1. Generally speaking, I'm not a draft horse person, but I love showing this guy. He's so big and dynamic. He looks great on the table.

  2. I like the quarantine. That is how everyone feels like my cat feels there something going on because he won't go out and he always sneaks out whenever he can not now.

  3. I really like the draft picture but you totally nailed the Quarantine Quandry pic!

  4. Replace the model horses with dolls and the horse at the window with people and your doll is now me. Though models WITH people sounds excellent too. Or real horses...

  5. I don't know how you did the shadows of that 'window pat' but it's just perfect.
