    How did your business start? I am trying to open my own tack business but it's really hard to gain popularity/get myself out there. Do you have any tips?
    I love your blog and I live for your posts! Someday I aspire to make tack like you.

      Quality always sells, so the best thing you can do is practice, practice, practice. Don't get in a big hurry to sell things. Make sure your work is really good enough before you offer it for sale.

      As far as advertising goes--don't be lazy when it comes to pictures. You don't need to have a great camera, but the tack should be on a horse properly, and the photo should be in focus with an uncluttered background.

      Of course it doesn't hurt to maintain a presence on the web. Personally I like blogs best, but web sites and/or Facebook pages are also good.

    The Red Halter is coming to my house!! One of my horses is getting a piece (1st piece) of Breymere tack! Woo-hoo!
