Packing

It's been eight months since the last Colorado live show, and in that time, my showstring has spread out all over my house.  I've spent most of the day rounding up ponies and packing them for tomorrow's Springamathing Live Show in Golden, Colorado.
Between judging, showing and visiting with friends, I anticipate a very busy day.  In an effort to make things a bit less hectic, I've opted to leave a lot of my regular showstring at home.  It was hard deciding who to bring, but fortunately, I got a lot of advice from Darcy and Emma.
After the horses were packed, it was time to move on to... everything else!  In this case, that's reference material, tack that needs to be delivered, tack that needs to be admired, cows for Jackie and Teresa and a jug for Teresa.  Tomorrow morning I need to remember to add the camera, cell phone and money for lunch and dinner to this pile.
Packed and ready.
It has been such a long time since I've been to a show.  I can hardly stand the wait.  Is it time yet?  How 'bout now?  Is it time?

  1. I'm DYING to go to a show! The last one was March 2nd, which was a whole lot less than eight months. Please take lots of pictures. Next to actually showing, looking a pictures of shows is my next favorite thing. Have fun and good luck!

    1. BTW-- that was good beer. I would definitely sign up for another jug of Buzzell beer.

  3. Oh, I forgot to mention this in the post, but one of the main reasons I'm so excited about tomorrow is that Jennifer Scott will be delivering Roundapony to me. I've seen a few in progress pictures but none of the finished product, and the suspense is KILLING me. I just know he's going to be totally adorable and awesome!!!

    1. Ha! By two o'clock I was *wishing* I'd packed a cooler full of beer. I spent half the day simultaneously judging in two rings and judging in rings. The performance classes were tougher than any I've seen in Colorado and the resin division... OMG! The Liz Shaw Victrix was in attendance and she "only" managed to win the Overall Reserve Championship. It was a crazy competitive show. Crazy.

I'll write a post as soon as I edit about a million photos!
