Kellye's Lone Star Live photos

More photos from Lone Star Live--this batch comes from Kellye Bussey.

First up is one of Kellye's wonderful Cobra mares showing in a leadline class.  This is the replacement bridle I made a couple months ago to go with her amazing Kathy Wiggins Spanish tack set.
Speaking of the Cobra, here they are in all their loveliness!
Rounding out the Iberian part of this post is Kellye's original finish Alborozo in his BCS Charro set.  The doll was dressed by Joan Yount.
Onto the English division.  This is Diamond Jubilee, a customized Sarah Rose Miss America resin by Mindy Berg.
She wore a BCS saddle in several classes.
Kellye debuted her new factory custom Stone pony in the Original Finish division.  Love the customizing and paint on this one!
Last but not least is this galloping Stone Quarter Horse.  Kellye notes: He is a blast to show in performance.  The forelock is a pain, especially with an English bridle, but it's do-able.
Thanks so much for the pictures, Kellye, and congrats again on all your good placings!

  1. What great photos, set ups and tack! Thank you for sharing, Kellye and Jennifer!

  2. As an O F lover who's been a little out of the loop lately, I am absolutely amazed by those Stones. Congratulations on what must have been a tough show! Thanks for sharing, both of you.

  3. See--I am not an OF person, but I love, love, LOVE that pony. The color, the pose, the gloss... it all adds up to fantastic. Models like that could turn me into an OF person. Way to go Stone and lucky, lucky Kellye!

  4. The Foundation QH looks SO much better with the CMing...
