NaMoPaiMo showcase - Kristen Cermele

I have strong personal feelings for every model that is created during NaMoPaiMo.
Even the unicorns!.
some of this year's unicorns
Everyone knows that I am not usually a unicorn kind of woman, but when they look like this...

or this, well sign me up.

I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite NaMoPaiMo unicorn, but without a doubt, Kristen Cermele's Anfisa is my favorite unicorn with a base.
Just look at this!
Anfisa is a Kylee Parkds Tiorra resin. Kristen hand painted her in oils and gold leaf embellishments.
Her bear is flocked..
and she comes with her own one of a kind entirely needle felted fantasy base...
and shiny beetle friend.
All the pieces work together to create a bright, magical world.
I love it so much.
Congratulations, Kristen, on creating something really special for this year's NaMoPaiMo. If you would like to make this piece your own, head over to Model Horse Place, where Anfisa is currently at auction

  1. Needlefelting. Why did I not recognize it right away. The texture is perfect for the job. The solution to the bear, who could not be needlefelted, is clever.
