Breyer Boot Camp Open Show results

Last weekend was Breyer Boot Camp, the virtual replacement for BreyerWest.
Even though I was really busy with NaMoPaiMo, I made time to enter the Photo Show. The results show was live streamed on Friday, and here's how I did.
The first performance section was Other Performance. I showed a number of models in this group of classes, but my main horse was Theodore. He placed first in Saddleseat and Other Performance.
That was enough to make him Reserve Champion of the Other Performance Section. Woo hoo!
Western Performance was next. Again, I showed several horses, including Theodore. I was surprised and delighted when he won both his classes.
The real star of this division, however, was Dun Up Purdy. He won first in Western Games, Reining/Western Riding and Western Trail, placed second in Stock Breeds Western Pleasure and fifth in Stockwork.
This was a nice moment for me.
Onto English! My main horse for this division was Once Upon A Time. She placed well in most of her classes...
but was upstaged by her stablemate, Flying Phoenix.
My third sectional Reserve Champion!
Since two of those titles belonged to Theodore, I wasn't hugely surprised when he also got an Overall Reserve. Good boy, Theo!
Other noteworthy placings included Dun Up Purdy's win in the Parade class,
Shalimay's win in Arabian Costume...
and Snickers' win in Other Costume.
I only showed two halter horses, but both of them did well. Lady Liberty did really, really well. I wish would have taken the time to show a few more, but honestly, considering the timing of this show, it's amazing I entered any photos at all.
Thank you to Erin Corbett (event host), Kristian Beverly (performance judge) and the entire Breyer Boot Camp team. I really enjoyed this show and the entire virtual event.

  1. If it had Corbett and Beverly it must have been a very good show. Congratulations!
