Today's prompt for the April Photo Challenge was Appaloosa. I wanted to do something with all the spots! so I included a Dalmatian, as well.
The prompt for the Shelter & Share Photo Challenge was "Netflix & Chill - What show are you watching and which model do you associate with your show?" I knew right away that I wanted to create a Tiger King themed entry. I found a still from the show and printed it on photo paper. I gave that to Ryan and asked him he could 3D print a tv to go around it. He could!
The tv looked dumb sitting on the floor, so I built a basic entertainment center out of scrap wood.
Of course, then I had to fill up that entertainment center. Ryan contributed a 3D printed mini Switch.
He also made a remote control, but his printer isn't set up for that kind of tiny detail. I replaced it with one made out of wood and paper.A stack of books, Cookie's puzzle, a Candy Land board game left over from Candyland Live, a deck of playing cards and a tiny stegosaurus round out the display.
Here's the final photo.
This was a fun project, and I am very pleased with the results. On to the next!

I think the Netflix and Chill picture is one of my favourites so far! Love the setup and the pony and cat fits perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLove this and I need a mini switch in my life 😆
ReplyDeleteYou could probably talk Ryan into printing another one, but no one here wants to paint it. I had to paint this one, and that was enough for me.
DeleteI need a mini remote in my life.
ReplyDeleteThe remote was really easy to make. I did a google search for photos of remotes and saved the one I liked best. I printed it on cardstock, cut it and glued it to painted and shaped wooden remote. I hit it with a quick coat of gloss, and it was done. Without a doubt, it was the easiest prop to make in the photo.
DeleteI love the picture. After reading how it came to be, I love it more! Great work!
ReplyDeleteI need a 3-D printer in my life. Or better yet, someone with a 3-D printer and the skills to use it. I love this pic!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorites. Thnx for the remote explanation.
ReplyDeleteThe dinosaur is a nice touch. Ever since The Jennifer Show I've been seeing dinosaurs everywhere.
ReplyDeleteThe kitty should really be hogging the remote, though -- cats don't share!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the Strapless make it into a photo! It made me so happy to see it pop up in my Facebook today during a quick mental break during the work day!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I LOVE the Netflix and chill. Your creativity has no bounds!
ReplyDeleteAdorable. I kinda want to cuddle up with them. I look forward to all your theme pics!
ReplyDeleteI love the dog with her pink collar. I love your pictures.
ReplyDeleteA day without Braymere Blogspot is a day without sunshine!
ReplyDeleteFunny how wanting one prop led to making a bunch of them. Hahaha. Good job.
