And when I say "ridiculous" what I really mean is amazing.
In fact, they were so good, I'm going to go out on a limb and say this was almost certainly the best performance show ever held.
You wouldn't think a show like this would also be a good place for people who are still learning the ropes, but somehow, it managed to be that, too. There at least five novice performance showers slugging it out with the pros on Saturday. They may not have won a lot of ribbons, but they all did amazing.
Bobbie Allen entered multiple classes her brand new Braymere saddle...
and a bunch of loaners from Sue Bensema Young.
So good!
Meghan Namaste's dressage mule showed in the dressage class...
and also the Other Costume class.
So good!
Tara Reich showed her 2019 NaMoPaiMo horse...
and her custom Thelwell pony in multiple events.
Here's the Appaloosa in Native American Costume...
and Other Costume...
and the pony in Scene...
and English Games.
It's all so good!
Christine Jordan campaigned her Hazel resin in a number of English...
and Western events.
Even though most of her tack and props were borrowed for the occasion, none of her entries looked cobbled together.
They were all so good!
At the end of the day Christine was named the top Novice Performance Shower with Tara and Michelle Eisley placing right behind her. I didn't manage to take any photos of Michelle's entries, which was an oversight on my part. You're going to have to trust me when I say that they were also so good.
Congratulations and thank you to everyone who showed performance at the Jennifer Show. That was a most amazing division, and all of you were so good.
