Blue Mustang

Denver International Airport's infamous Blue Mustang welcomed Carol and me back to Colorado today.
This is one horse sculpture I do not want to tack up!  He stands thirty two feet tall...
and has a scary face with glowing red eyes.  Ew. 
Fortunately, the horses on the homefront are a lot friendlier.  I can hardly wait to get back to work on Roundapony!

    Thanks! It's good to be home, but I wish I could have stayed a couple more days.

    The story about him killing his creator is in the article I linked. Definitely not a horse I want to mess with!

    ick, couldn't they have sculpted something...nicer?? or more welcoming for an international airport??

    I would say welcome back, but it would seem strange coming from someone in NZ!! :P

    The blue horse won't ever be my favorite, but those red eyes are what gets me the most - ewwwwww.

    Honestly, I'm not sure which is worse--the red eyes or the huge, nasty stomach veins. Ew, ew, ewwwww!
