You know, I've never really "stopped riding" per se... It's more like there are times in my life when I put a lot of space between rides.
In any event, I'll be riding her twice a week--once in a lesson and once informally. I rode her today and she's pretty wonderful. She's a very nice mover and feels athletic but also very safe and comfortable. I am really looking forward to getting to know her better.
And yes, Christine, there will be a ton of Welshie spam in the next few months! She is just so darn cute and those dapples... Well, I LOVE them!
She's in Parker (near Fran, actually) and she does jump. I did not jump her today, but am really looking forward to doing that when I'm in a little better shape.
Yay! She is precious! Can't wait to hear of some of your adventures!! It has been too hot and humid to ride here, so I've just been horse-keeping lately. Have fun enjoying your new part-time pony; she looks like a lot of fun! (LOVE those dapples!!)
Congratulations. She's a real stunner.
