New month/New Horse

Yay, it's October! September wasn't a very good month for me, but I am feeling cautiously optimistic about the next thirty one days. It just feels as though things are about to start turning around. Of course, things always seem better when there's a new resin in the house. Just look at the pretty thing the mailman brought me today:
Zefyrr is a Kara Kush resin sculpted and painted by the very talented Andrea Kessler. I've wanted a copy of this resin for years--longer, in fact, than she's existed in resin form! Back in the very early days of Blab, Andrea posted pictures of her in-progress Akhal Teke sculpture and I was instantly smitten. I am so pleased to finally add this girl to my collection. I am also happy to report that Andrea paints as well as she sculpts. Just look at these wonderful, subtle dapples:
I'm not officially taking new orders, but here's a little secret about me: I can always be bribed. If you have something on my wish list and you would like to convert it into tack... Well, that can be arranged.
Thanks Marianna--I love my new pony and the girls love their treats!

  2. Carol? Is that you? I have to ask because that question makes absolutely no sense coming from anyone else! I admit, it even took me a moment to make sense of it. :)

  6. Ah, yes, bribery...

Perhaps a few rides on Flick would work at "softening" you up? hehehehe I made it look easy but he's a grumpy old man with "mom cues" installed. :)
