Remember yesterday's post, in which I said the BreyerFest Best Customs Contest Excellence in Finishwork is a brutal throwdown between some of the hobby's most accomplished artists? Yeah, this is exactly what I was talking about. Behold Brie Cundiff's 2025 entry, Tortilla. This piece was painted in pastels, pigments, pencils and acrylics and just might be my favorite finishwork entry of the year. Here are all the pictures!

"Horses just didn't come in these colors when I was a kid" -- model horses that is!!! I didn't have the terms to describe them then either. Rabicano dapples anyone? Or is this a tortilla effect,...?! happy sigh.
