Here's another fabulous entry from the BreyerFest Best Customs Contest Glow Ups division, this time from Kristin Arendt.
She writes: I remember receiving a Hess Hanoverian for Christmas when I was seven. I was immediately hooked on that mold, so much so that to this day that I have all of them! Glow Ups is a great reason to revisit old flames, so this year I went with my all time fave and gave him the face lift he deserved.
Meet Art Deco, a portrait of the highly influential, tobiano, Dutch Warmblood stallion.
He is finished in pastels and acrylics. Believe it or not, this head is filled with a bar magnet to easily attach bits for performance.
The rest of the post shows his creation from inspiration all the way through completion. There aren't any words, and honestly, there don't need to be. These pictures illustrate the process all on their own.

Fantastic work! Definitely what I imagined for that model.
