Shauna's diorama entry

The theme for this year's BreyerFest Diorama Contest is the same as the theme for this year's BreyerFest: Cheers to 75 Years! Here's the official description.

You know, asking someone like Shauna McDaniel about her favorite BreyerFest memory is, well, asking for it.

Shauna writes: Contest season is serious business around the hobby..

Mostly.

When asked to create our favorite memory as a diorama it was an easy choice.  

Picture it: Kentucky 2023, a group of feral friends are finally escaping Covid and getting together in person for the very first time. 

They decide they are going to have the best time and actually PLAY with their horses.

Enter the Nico Races on the Clarion stairs. 

The absolute chaotic joy set a precedent for more years and memories and promises to meet in Kentucky as long as we can. The Nico races will forever stand as the invitation to play with our horses and let the little voices win every now and then but especially at Fest. This is my BreyerFest Diorama Contest entry.

Congratulations, Shauna. This is a perfect way to celebrate that perfect memory. Good luck in Kentucky!
