Three years in, there are approximately one thousand one hundred ninety three NaMoPaiMo models out there in the world. It's a rare live show that doesn't include at least one of them.
This year's BreyerWest had a whole lot more than one. I wasn't able to get pictures of all of them, but here are the ones I did manage to capture, starting with Cameron Clow's 2019 model, Chevy. Can you believe she started life as a Breyer Duchess and is Cam's first ever custom? Great work, Cam!Julie Ward is another new painter with a ton of talent. She started painting in November 2018 and is already creating models like this. Keep going, Julie. You are a superstar in the making.
Shana Bobbitt wasn't able to paint with us this year, but here's her model from last year. This was one of my favorites from 2018, and I was really happy to finally see him in person!
Canadian Meredith Conrad spent the winter working at the HITS Coachella Winter Hunter/Jumper Circuit and still managed to finish her NaMoPaiMo pony. That's dedication!Of course, the star of the day was Ruth Sheridan's 2019 model. He was the Overall Reserve Champion in the Open Show Custom Division. Congratulations, Ruth!
NaMoPaiMo was also well-represented at the Youth/Novice Show. I missed most of the youth entries, but here's Kenzie Williamson's 2019 model on the table.
Love that nameplate! He won his class, but the champion title went to one of Kenzie's other models. Congratulations, Kenzie!
It was so wonderful seeing all these models in person. Congratulations, Cameron, Julie, Shana, Meredith, Ruth and Kenzie. You are all winners!
