I don't know if it's the return of winter weather or the shorter days or the election or missing my dad or all of the above, but I have been feeling really blue lately.
Since I haven't been feeling social, I've mostly stayed off social media. That changed last night when, suddenly, Sarah Townsend's "Ask me anything" challenge dominated my Facebook feed.
I got swept up in reading everyone's questions and answers, and eventually decided to participate myself.
I've answered every single question posted so far, and surprisingly, I feel more cheerful today than I've felt all week. Coincidence, perhaps, but on the off chance it isn't, I've decided to extend the "Ask me anything" challenge to blog readers. What do you want to know?

Would you rather make ten simple tack sets or one exquisite set?
ReplyDeleteIt really depends on what else is going on in my life. If I have a whole week of days with long blocks of free time, I'd much rather work on one big project. Small projects fit into busier weeks better.

ReplyDeleteThis isn't something I'm actively working toward right now, but I'm definitely open to the possibility should everything fall into place. So maybe, maybe not. Only time will tell.

How do you do panels?

ReplyDeletePanels are just skiver over tooling leather, sometimes with a little felt added to the mix. The trick isn't so much the what but the how. Even though I've been making them more or less the same way for a decade, it's only recently that I've really figured out how to get the shape I want. And, of course, there's still room for improvement. There's always room for improvement.
How do you get the back so neat with all the folds though?
