Without a doubt, this is the most complicated bridle I've ever made.Double bridles are inherently time consuming, but the decision to add buckles to the bit ends of both the cheek pieces and the reins kept this bridle on my work desk for two full days.
I still have a bit of tweaking to do, but it's basically done and thank goodness for that!
I do very much like making model horse tack, but keepers are not among my favorites and thirty six 1/16" keepers? You will have to pay me a bit more than $15 bucks to do that! :)
I totally sympathise, keepers are my least favourite thing! Especially on tiny straps when I always seem to make them too small and tight. Beautiful bridle though!
I despise making bridles with many buckles and keepers. I do several types that do and I don't like to do them! Congrats on making such a lovely bridle!
Well, it was certainly worth it! But I have to say, when I first read the title, I saw 'Fifteen BUCKS and thirty six keepers'
