Andrea Gurdon

There aren't many hobby blogs that last more than a year or two, and even fewer that make it past the decade mark. Andrea Gurdon's Breyer History Diva was one of the rare exceptions.

Andrea was a long time collector, shower and Breyer historian.

Her knowledge of her chosen topic was encyclopedic, and she shared it generously, not just through her blog, but also with her MGR Samplers, a small free publication she handed out at BreyerFest.
I never met her.

Despite both of us being prolific bloggers and hobby lifers, our paths never crossed.

Still, I felt like I knew her. After all, I spent nearly fifteen years reading her blog, all one thousand eight hundred twenty posts of it.

Yesterday, her family published Breyer History Diva's final post.
Godspeed, Andrea, and thank you for sharing your life, knowledge and words with us. You will not be forgotten.
