NaMoPaiMo day seven

Today is February 7. That means we are officially one full week into NaMoPaiMo.

I asked registered participants for a status check.

Two percent of the respondents have finished their models and uploaded a picture to the NaMoPaiMo website.

Another two percent is this close to being done.

Fourteen percent have finished their model's body color and are now working on markings.

Thirty three percent - myself included - are still working on the body color.

Seven percent of our models are base coated.

Seventeen of us are prepped and primed.

and three percent are waiting on a model that doesn't even exist yet.

I joke, but also, I kind of wish I was part of that group. Look at what they're waiting on!

While I truly appreciate everyone who takes part in my little painting party, today's NaMoPaiMo Champion of the Day goes to someone who came to the event as ready as ready could be. Madison McComas started the month with a fully customized, prepped and primed model and a solid plan of attack.

Less than a week later, she has a beautiful new addition to her collection.

Congratulations, Madison. That's the way to do it! Hopefully the other ninety eight percent of us will be following in your footsteps soon!
