Sue Rowe says: Spots are just starting. This is probably the very first time I’ve drawn in a basic spot pattern. I've always just gone in with paints. Since 1971. We’ll see if this works out “better.” There’s no end to the learning.
Caroline Jones had her first day of actual painting. She's layering white over a darker base coat.
Beth Peart Weekes' model is almost done. She'll be getting a mohair mane and tail, in keeping with her vintage-style.
Pablo McDermott reports that Team #HorsesPaintingHorses is finally ready to start painting! I don't know exactly what this will entail, but I am here for it.
Keep working, my friends!

Speaking of amazing, just take a look at this.
Her creator, Levi Kroll, describes her this way: The Croiken has come to life! Formed out of eight Croi bodies, some acrylic paint, mischief, and apoxie, she inspires very conflicting emotions in her viewers.
This piece was created because i needed something to practice being imperfect at. She was exactly what I needed. Something that was ridiculous enough that the more imperfect she was the better she was.
It's so easy to get stuck in your head, trying to plan your way through a piece, but ultimately you can't! There are always hiccups or maybe the piece speaks up and tells you your plans are not for them. Go forth and PLAY!
Thank you for that reminder, Levi. I love your Croiken and everything she represents. You are the NaMoPaiMo Champion of the Day.Congratulations, Levi, and good work to everyone who is still working on - and playing with - their model!
