Anniversary gifts

Last month, my friend and fellow blogger, Lynn "Horsiemama" Isenbarger, celebrated her fiftieth anniversary in the model horse hobby.

She marked the occasion with a series of blog posts and giveaways. I was fortunate enough to win one of them, and my prizes arrived yesterday.
The magazine will be saved for another day.
I could not wait to tear into the tissue wrapped packages.
The first contained two of Lynn's embroidered horse blankets.
Of course, I had to stop everything and play dress-up.
So satisfying.
The second package was a nice. long haversack made from the "Flamingo Pond" fabric.
Lynn has also made Flamingo Pond haversacks for herself and Anne Field, so now that's the official fabric of the model horse alphabet blogger club.
Congratulations on fifty years in the model horse hobby, Lynn! You make the world of tiny horses a better place, and I am honored to call you my friend.

  1. Thank you so much, Jennifer! I am glad you liked the things in your package. And I will remake that pony blanket - the back is too short and the belly strap too long. Stay 'tooned!

  2. I love this post! And I love that we have matching haversacks!
