Two weeks ago, the first ever Denver BreyerWest was held in conjunction with the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo. Hobbyists from across the country flocked to Colorado to show in the live shows,

participate in the workshops...

It was a weekend of togetherness.

We ate together. 

We sat together.

No one worried about germs.

Oh, what a difference two weeks makes!

As of yesterday, Seth is working from home full time. Ryan's college campus is closed. His classes will be taught online for the rest of the semester. James' spring break has been extended by one week. Although none of us are considered high risk, the Buxton family is taking this pandemic seriously. We believe in community responsibility and flattening the curve, so we're limiting our time away from the home. 

Obviously, I would never wish for a global health crisis, but after so many months of non-stop busyness, I'm kind of looking forward to the downtime. Expect a plethora of blog posts in the next few weeks. I have a lot of catching up to do!
