BreyerWest Open Show postscript

In order to make it easier for the BreyerWest Open and Kids' Show entrants to identify the judges, show holder Erin Corbett asked them to wear brightly colored antennae, at least for the first part of each show.
Kristen Cermele, Kim Bjorgo-Thorne, Jennifer Scott, Kelly Weimer and Leah Koerper
As we were leaving the hall on Sunday, Erin asked me if I would like to keep the antennae. My first reaction was not positive. My kids are grown, my house is small, I have no need for that kind of nonsense. I grumbled something to that effect, and then she said, "I thought you might want them for the horses."
So on the first riding day after BreyerWest, Santana,
and Thunder took turns modeling the BreyerWest judges' antennae.
I was riding Thunder that day.
He was so nonplussed by his new headgear, I decided to leave them on for the entire ride.
It was adorable.
 Best little alien pony ever.
Doink! Doink! Doink!
I'm sorry I doubted you, Erin. You were right. I really did need those antennae!
