In my "Make this someday!" file I have a picture of a Clydesdale in a snowy field wearing an antler headband and a holiday halter with a red Rudolph nose. It's not my photo, so I'm not going to share it here, but trust me, it's pretty darn cute.
Today I needed a small holiday project, so that "someday" finally came. I started with the halter, which is a basic ribbon halter with a few extra bells and whistles.
On the advice of Nichelle Jones, I used Fabri-Tac glue instead of my usual Super Thick Tacky Glue. While I didn't love the smell or the stringiness, it did make working with ribbon a lot easier. Thank you for your help, Nichelle!
Once that was done, I made an antler headband using a tutorial from the Nobleman Stables blog.
This tutorial is written in Polish, but it translated well. The directions were easy to follow, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Thank you, Nobleman Stables!
This is so cute.
I am really pleased to have checked this one off the someday list.
Now all I need is a snowy field for Liam to gallop through!
