First saddles of 2017

I was exaggerating when I referred to these saddles as being finished last Thursday.

In reality, they still needed knee blocks,

stirrups and stirrup leathers... 

and girths. 

Now they're really done.

It's been a long time since I've made a dressage saddle, but fortunately, my skills weren't too rusty.

These are, without a doubt, the best dressage saddles I have ever made.

I even like them from this angle, which is a rarity for me.

One of these belongs to Mindy, but the other will be offered for sale next week when I open my Etsy store. I'll also have a nice selection of smaller items. Be sure to watch this space for more information!
