Every year, I participate in a model horse Christmas gift exchange. This year was no exception, so I was delighted, but not surprised, to receive a big box from Kate Cabot earlier this week.
Inside I found a whole wealth of goodies, most of which were wrapped in this beautiful paper.
There was a stuffed pony and several types of chocolates, two ornaments and a pot holder,
and a fun selection of 1:9 scale treats.
Literal treats.
The ice chest came with ice, which delights me to no end.
There was also a horsey holiday sweatshirt, which I will wear to every Christmas barn party for the rest of my life, starting with the one I attended today.
Last but definitely not least, was this personalized Olive necklace. I'm not generally a jewelry person, but I love this and have worn it nonstop since I unwrapped it.
Thank you so much, Kate. This was absolutely perfect.Today's prompt for the Advent Model Horse Photo Challenge is Favorite Mold. I don't like picking favorites on principle, and I don't actually have a favorite mold. I do, however, have strong feelings about foals, longears and anything sculpted by Kylee Parks, so here's Goodnight Moon, a solid non-favorite favorite.
Fifteen down, ten to go!

Aww, he's so cute! 🥰
ReplyDeleteDid you paint him?
Oh, lordy, no! That's a Mindy Berg piece.
