Today's photo

Today's prompt for the Advent Model Horse Photo Challenge is Schleich.

The focus of my collection is 1:9 scale customs and resins, which is kind of the opposite of end of the hobby spectrum. Despite that, I was able to find three Schleichs in my hobby room. This mare and foal - which came to me in an advent calendar - are cute but much, much too small for my backdrop and props.

The donkey foal is closer, but still, I was not inspired.

I was feeling extremely unmotivated about today's photo until I remembered that Schleich makes other animals. 

This little chihuahua came out of the same advent calendar as the ponies.
