I am a completely different type of hobbyist. I prefer artist models to factory models and care more about realism that rarity. I can tell you who sculpted nearly every horse in the Breyer line-up, but if you ask me when a certain model was produced, I'll be lucky to narrow it down to the right decade.
Today's prompt for the Wellman sister's May Shelter & Share Photo Challenge is "Who is the oldest piece in your collection?" I honestly have no idea, so here's a picture of my Hagen-Renaker Adelaide. She was produced sometime between 1956 and 1986. I bought her from my friend, Trisha, who inherited her from her Grandmother. Knowing that, I would guess she's an older version. Emphasis on the word guess.
Sorry, Wellman sisters. This was not my best effort, but you have to admit, she's a cute old ass!
