Eight days ago, the Chronicle of the Horse published a story about equine jock straps.
Long used by harness racers, this specialty tack item has now found its way into the international jumper ring thanks to Katharina Offel's mount, Quebracho Semilly.
For reasons I will never understand, certain people in the model horse hobby saw this article and thought of me.
At first it was kind of funny...
but it quickly became annoying.
By the time I went to bed, I was hoping to never hear the words "equine jock strap" again.
Then I woke up the next morning and decided I had to make an equine jock strap.
Sometimes it's like that.
Behold: the world's first 1:9 scale equine jock strap..
