If you were browsing MH$P earlier this week, you might have seen these pictures taken by Erin Corbett. The tack set is no longer available, but photos like these deserve to be posted!
I made this saddle several years ago, but the bridle, breastplate and pad were part of Erin's NAN 2009 order. The model is Erin's brand new Valor resin. He was sculpted and painted by Carol Williams.
I think he is absolutely gorgeous and he joins ES Dusty and ES Rockette Butt on my list of models owned by Erin and coveted by me!

What a beautiful horse! And nice tack too! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! :oo Soo beautiful tack & horse<3
ReplyDeleteHeyyyyyy, this guy looks familiar!
ReplyDeletePhoto credit goes to Tracy Eilers, though - both the horse and the tack set are at her house in Oregon! She snapped photos of the set so I could get it listed, hehe.
It took me more than a year to realize that I don't need four huntseat sets, LOL!
Nonesense, Erin - you can never have enough huntseat sets!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful model and tack, that's for sure!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say I love your blog! I've been reading it for almost a year now and you inspired me to start my own blog for 2011! I love your tack and all of your models. :)
Ooh... that horse and Erin's grey Cadence...YUMMMY
ReplyDelete:)
LOL Lindsay! I thought the same thing for a looong time, until I came to terms with two important facts:
ReplyDeletea) The performance class lists here usually consist of 8-10 classes, total, only 1-2 of which are appropriate for english tack (Usually the only english classes are dressage and jumping).
b) When I go to shows in the US, it will always be flying from here on out, and I can't forsee bringing four english horses ever, haha. For that matter I can't see bringing three, but parting with one tack set was hard enough, not doing it again!
I second Teresa. Don´t forget ES Granite!
ReplyDeleteGranite is awesome, too, but I don't covet him the way I covet the others. Of course, that's not to say that I wouldn't clear a space for him on my shelf! :)
ReplyDeleteIf Erin ever changes her mind about needing four English sets, she can always get another from me. Have you seen her Western saddles? They are absolutely spectacular and I can't imagine a time when we couldn't work out a trade. I may not "need" the four Western saddles I already have, but there's always room for one more!
LOL Jennifer, I may be full up with english sets, but I don't have a single harness! That charro set you did last year was pretty unbelievable as well!
ReplyDeleteJennifer - that's because you didn't see him up close and personal in PERSON like I did at NAN '09 :D
ReplyDeleteYeah, you bring up a good point, Erin, about the classlist. =) I just need to make myself 1 huntseat set! That's the goal for the beginning of 2011! That and continue to refine my harness sets.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteHi Alayna! I do make tack to sell, but I am completely booked for the time being. Whenever I have openings, they are announced on my blog, as are occasional pre-made sales pieces.
