BreyerWest hasn't ever been a huge shopping event for me, but usually I come home with at least a couple new somethings. This year was no exception.
The first thing I bought - long before the event even took place - was the Special Run model, Glossy Chardonnay.
Not going to lie, I bought this model for the sole purpose of flipping him.
I did, in fact, do that, but let me tell you, it was hard. He was so pretty. If I didn't have a whole bunch of big expenses coming up later this year, he would still be living on my shelf.
The same could be said for the volunteer model, Chevaliere. I ended up with two of the sun bleached black version and would have happily kept either if finances were not a thing.
Goodbye, my pretty. It was nice owning you, even if it was just for a minute or two.
On to the things I'm actually keeping! Here's a fun assortment of performance items I purchased from Teresa Buzzell.
I also got a deck of Erin Corbett's Cards Against Humanity inspired Model Horse Card Game.
Last, but definitely not least, I have three new additions to my BreyerWest stablemate herd.
Neither of my ponies are anything to get excited about, but I am so happy to be the new owner of Tiffany's award winning Stablemate Painting Contest entry.
She is the same color as my first Purdy horse, so of course, I had to take pictures of the two of them together.
So satisfying! This may not be the most impressive BreyerWest haul, but I am pleased with it. Thank you to everyone who contributed, especially those who bought my expensive ponies. I really appreciate it!
