CosplayWest, part two

If you've met Jackie Rossi even one time, you probably know the following things about her: She is a veterinarian.

She and her husband, Dave, are Weird Al Yankovic superfans.

Despite initially disliking each other, she and Heather are one of the hobby's longest and strongest BFF couples.

Speaking of model, Jackie is a lifelong collector, with a hobby resume longer and more impressive than my own.

Finally, her favorite video game is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

This last one is particularly relevant because it's become a part of her hobby life.

There have been Zelda themed performance entries...

and her favorite character, Link, made an appearance at last year's BreyerFest.

For the last several years, I have been dying to coordinate a Zelda photo shoot with Jackie and real horses. We came close last year, but stupid Covid derailed our plans. When I heard she would be attending BreyerWest, I sent her a message saying, "Please, please, please bring Link."

She did.

It was glorious.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this happen. It was every bit as awesome as I knew it would be.

And, you know, I'm already thinking of ways to do it again but better next year!
