When hobbies collide

My kids have spent the last four days chasing Pokemons.

I think it's kind of weird, but it's been nice having them accompany me on dog walks Pokemon hunts. 

I told them that we should go Pokemon hunting on horseback. To my great surprise, Ryan agreed.

We found our first Pokemon before we'd even saddled up.

The best Pokemon hunters wear Doctor Who socks. 

The nearest Pokestop and gym were at a park, so we rode along the sidewalk...

 until...

our quarry was located. 

"Catch it! Catch it! Catch it!" 

Best Pokemon capture ever. 

After that, we circled back...

and went on...

the world's shortest trail ride.

This was a good outing for both of us.
