After I registered for my barn's Scavenger Hunt, I was sent a list of ten items and tasks to find, perform and photograph with my horse. Number one was Selfie.
Well, that's easy.
Then Sage and I donned our hats.
Some of them were pretty cute, but the image I selected for my official scavenger entry was taken on the way home.
My phone is literally filled with Jennifer and Sage walk selfies.
But also, because I am the way I am, none of those would do. I needed a better, more memorable selfie. I thought about it for a bit and came up with a plan.Every day on our walk, I'd been snapping photos for Karen. Finally, we decided the time had come. We gave our horses an extra good grooming, put on the fancy halters and headed to the tree.
I took pictures of Karen and Kaffi. Then Sage and I donned our hats.
Karen took a few pictures of us.
When that was done, I took out my phone and snapped a whole series of selfies. Some of them were pretty cute, but the image I selected for my official scavenger entry was taken on the way home.
One down, nine to go!

I love the matching hats! Really cute selfie.
