In August, Angelo and I took Piper and Tang to Dog Days at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
We enjoyed all the animals, but were especially taken with Emmett and Digger, the grizzly bears.
A few days later, Angelo found a familiar face at the store.
They asked me if I wanted it. I said no, I probably had enough bears already. Apparently that was not a whole no.Which means, I am now a proud new bear owner.
The new guy is made by Safari and is roughly traditional scale. He may not be precisely 1:9 scale, but close enough for my purposes.
I took a photo of him with my Safari black bears and sent it to Angelo saying they were a family.
It turns out they actually could be. Who knew?
While I was at it, I dug up my other grizzly and added him to the group.
He's a fine bear, but I like the new one better.Since I do not need two grizzlies, this one is free to a good home. If you'd like to have, let me know in the comments section of this post. I'll pick a winner sometime next week.

I'm in! It's me Sandra :) I think I know the sculptress of this rather well 0.0
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm thinking you do :D
DeleteWow, that Grizzly looks amazing!!! Just for Info, Schleich will bring out a cute Capybara next year! 🙃
ReplyDeleteAssuming the scale is correct, I'll definitely be in the market for that. While it's possible to have too many bears, the same can not be said for capybaras!
DeleteI could provide a great home to a bear! (Barb DiAnnibella, I never can seem to get logged in here)
ReplyDeleteLove your bear family.
