Happy Peepster

Every year, my friend Andrea Caudill shares a new video of Matt the Cowpony eating Peeps. They are his favorite Easter treat.

This year's offering was particularily horrific memorable.

I have spent twelve years trying to find a horse who would eat Peeps. 

So far Ernie and Stone have been the only takers.

Hope springs eternal.

Today I brought a fresh package of Peeps to the barn.

Winslow did not hesitate. He practically inhaled the offered Peep. 

But then...

I think it's fair to say, he had regrets.

So many.

Winslow is not a Peep eater.

Matt is still the undisputed king of Peep eating.

Maybe my next horse will be the one to finally dethrone him.
