Earlier this year, one of Angelo's friends found a little puppy - much too young to be separated from his mom - on the side of the road in California.
The puppy was taken to a vet, who discovered he also had parvo. The future for this guy was pretty bleak until Angelo got involved. Together with their wife, Tori, Angelo paid to nurse the puppy back to health, and then, to have him delivered to Colorado.
To my great delight, my house was the first stop on Tang's new life journey.
Seth and I and our dogs were ready.Puppy!
Despite his tough start in life, this is a brave, well-adjusted puppy.
He walked right in and made himself at home.
Tang's toys.
Tang's water.
"Oh, look, a bed!"
"Sorry, Darcy."
"It's mine now."
"Mine!!!"
That's pretty much how the evening went.
We watched Tang.
We played with Tang.
We took pictures of Tang.
There was a fair amount of barking...
but mostly, everyone was really well behaved.I am proud of my Darcy girl. She is much too old for this nonsense, but she was so sweet with Tang.
Best borker ever.
Eventually, the little man ran out of energy and went to sleep.
Nothing sleeps harder than a worn out puppy. This was such a fun day.
Congratulations, Angelo and Tori on your new family member. All the Buxtons love Tang!

What a cute little guy! Wishing him and his family many, many happy years together!
