Peepster

It's been several years since we tried to feed Peeps to the horses. Mary Jo thought it was time to revisit the idea.

Scarlett got the first Peep...
and provided us with the first rejection.
Olive likes candy, so she couldn't wait to check out Mary Jo's offerings.
I thought she was going to eat it, but she took one sniff and said, "No, thank you."
We decided to try a different delivery method with Thunder. It worked! He ate the Peep we'd hidden in Olive's leftover beet pulp, but then steadfastly refused to touch another one.
Amora was next.
She is young and naive and trusted us enough to take one little nibble. Only one.
Finally, it was Delilah's turn.
"Ha ha," she said. "You can't fool me. Peeps aren't food!"
So there you have it once again. Peeps aren't horse food. If your horse eats them, he's probably a unicorn!
