Humble beginnings

I have a couple fun performance ideas for little Ribbit, but they all require a halter.

"No problem," I thought. "I have a lot of halters."

I dug through my stash and found a very old, very small foal halter that seemed like it would fit the bill.

Nope!
Traditional scale small pony foal is just a tick bigger than Stablemate adult. Who knew?
It's much too small for the current state of my near vision, but some ideas are impossible to resist.
Not bad!
Bonus: It also fits this baby, who is probably going to be my 2024 NaMoPaiMo victim.
All tacked up and ready to work!
It's a very humble little halter, but I'm pleased with my efforts, nonetheless. The first piece of tack - and performance photo - of the new year is complete. On to the next!

Do you already have a plan for what color you're going to paint that little guy?
